Tutorial provides basic information about the designs and calculations of some gear pumps used in fuel-supply systems, lubrication, hydraulic systems of aircraft with various
drives: both from the engine rotors and from the electric motor. The features of the design, the principles of operation of gear pumps are considered, the foundations of their calculation and design are outlined.
